Under the Volcano

On holiday in Tenerife, Spain, Ukranian tourists Roman and Anastasiia’s biggest concern is trying to entertain their restless son and moody teenage daughter, permanently on her phone. Little do they know that their lives will be upended on the last day of their vacation. At the airport, their flight is cancelled: Russia has invaded Ukraine. Stranded on the island, the tourists find themselves trapped in a state of limbo, having to contend with isolation, duty, fear… and each other.
