Details
70-year-old Willi brings the underage Nama into his son Stefan's house. The question of guilt that stands between the two men prevents peaceful coexistence. Nama's presence inevitably breaks the speechlessness between father and son. Initially full of anger at Nama, whom he catches stealing from a church, the lonely Willi sees in the young refugee a mirror of himself, but also of his son Stefan. Like Nama, Willi once lost his mother when he had to flee war and destruction from his homeland of Germany to Scandinavia, a foreign country in 1945.
