LÂM (17), BẢO (17), and AN (17) stand on the edge of an abandoned skate bowl, looking down. Below them is MINH (17)—one of their closest friends and the person Bảo has feelings for—who has become the world's first zombie. Having snuck into a remote area far from the city, they have no cell service to call for help. The three of them are left with only two choices: 1. Risk everything to bring the zombie back to the city, hoping someone can save Minh—but in doing so, they might unleash a global outbreak. 2. Ensure the safety of everyone else by killing Minh once and for all, even though he is their best friend. Lâm is fully aware of what needs to be done: Minh must die. But when friendship and survival are weighed against each other, not everyone will make the same choice. Holding the fate of the world in his hand, Lâm must convince Bảo and An—one who values love over survival, and one who is intelligent but indecisive—to stand by his side.
