Young Gil, a courier driver, wins big at a casino and proposes to Ha Rim. But soon after, he loses all the money he had saved, along with 10 million won he borrowed from a pawnshop broker, Jeong-seop, using his truck as collateral. Returning to Seoul empty-handed, he borrows another 10 million won from Ha Rim’s mother to reclaim his truck and heads back to Gangwon Province—only to enter the casino once again. After losing the 10 million won, Young Gil hitchhikes back toward Seoul and ends up in the car of Jin-su, a high school teacher. A scuffle breaks out as he tries to take the bag of cash and the car, and the two tumble into the winter fields. Out of guilt for injuring Jin Su, Young Gil apologizes and offers to drive for him. But when he opens the trunk, a shocking discovery awaits him.
