So it goes, when a young man decides to climb a staircase in the middle of an enchanted forest, he is confronted with unanticipated chaos, forcing him to keep pushing on, up the never-ending staircases, only to arrive at seemingly… nothing? Will he ever make it out of the woods?
Director's Statement
The Pursuit is a symbolism for all the things we chase in life, a feeling we know all too well. This cruel summer, our goal is to provoke thought and inspire introspection among our viewers with this film We hope that it will prompt them to reflect on their own aspirations and the things that they chase in the labyrinth of life. Will there ever be a place in this world where there’s nothing to chase? A time when nothing matters and everything is safe and sound? Will you be able to tolerate it? Or will we crumble in the great war.
