Director's Statement
While we experience death as an immense sense of loss and grief, for funeral homes, death is part of your everyday and corpses are your colleagues. The funeral home treads a fine balance between business and mourning. Peace Funeral Home takes on the taboos of death and funerals head on, presenting it from the perspective of the Lee family, who is perhaps a little desensitized to the goriness of it all.
Peace is a comedy of errors that follows Peace as she figures out how to be a good funeral director and boss on top of being a sister and a daughter.
