Mission Dadu

Ramodhar Singh is a military veteran who has retired with age. A patriot and a loyal military man, Singh reminisces about his war stories to his beloved 11-year-old grand-daughter, Chumki, where he would reveal the passionate and warm-hearted side behind his grave mask. One day, Chumki catches her grandfather making a wish that reveals his unhappiness in his yearning for a bygone time in the military. To grant his wish, Chumki brings her grandfather to an old Akhada — a place where military troops used to train. However, the trip leads to Singh’s succumb to nostalgia and to Chumki’s dismay, he pushes her away. Desperate to rekindle their bond and help him find happiness again, Chumki decides to create a war for her grandfather to relive all the great war stories he has shared.
