A short film about contemporary motherhood, set in modern-day Singapore. Amelia, a young working mother, discovers her 3-month-old son Ethan is underweight. Unable to be with him for most of her time due to her work, she reluctantly leaves Ethan in the care of her mother-in-law. Amelia does all she can to care for her beloved Ethan; while also feeling extremely helpless and being sidelined. Milk follows her through this journey of navigating the anxieties and hardships of a working mother who is still feeling unsure of, but slowly finding her place as a mother.
