Director's Statement
“
Sahil D. Gada is a 29-year-old screenwriter, director, and editor from Nairobi, Kenya based in Mumbai.
Graduating in Journalism from the United States International University (Kenya) and securing a Diploma in Direction from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, Sahil has worked as a creative copywriter and producer at East FM (Kenya). He is the founder and director of Hoodwink 9 Theatre and Vibgyor Factory, both in Kenya.
Sahil has directed an episode of Moh Maya Machine (anthology series) and Ithaar (web series) for OHO Gujarati. His student short The Meadows of Time had several festival screenings nationwide. His latest short film Shikhandi was screened at various film festivals and garnered many awards.
