Trivia

20km from the town Olsztyn is Gietrzwald, a village in the North-East part of Poland. Poland was amongst 3 countries which did not exist on the world map (1795 – 1918) when it was believed that Virgin Mary appeared in front of two young girls delivering a message in Polish language. This made the Polish people very happy in a period when Poland did not exist as a country.
