Eleven-year-old Amra lives a traditional nomad life in the Mongolian steppe. Besides attending school and caring for the family’s sheep and goats, Amra pores over Youtube clips of singers and dreams of competing in ’Mongolia’s Got Talent’. When his father is killed in an accident, Amra finds his life upended. Survival takes precedence, above education and his cherished dreams. But is working for the illegal gold miners who carve up the steppes the best way to honour his father and his family?
