So Far, So Close tells the story of a man who cannot forget the lover who left him ten years ago and has since remained trapped in the past. Junho, the owner of an old LP bar, has been unable to step outside his bar for a decade due to lingering trauma. One day, he meets Yeonju, a mysterious woman who looks exactly like his deceased lover, but he loses her as well in a tragic accident. Soon after, Eun-young, a regular customer who also resembles his lost love, visits the bar after ending a long-term relationship.
