Far Frontiers

Far Frontiers is a deeply sentimental and compelling film shot against the backdrops of scenic Kyrgyzstan. Maria lives in a Russian military base with her son and husband, eagerly awaiting their transfer back home to Russia. She develops a close relationship with Captain Krainov, her son’s Judo coach, setting up a chain of dramatic events that will fatally and irreversibly change the course of Maria’s and her family’s life.
