Quan Phuong Thanh

Quan Phuong Thanh is a Vietnamese filmmaker. Thanh received a full scholarship to attend the The Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK). After graduation she has been working as a director for various short films, commercials and top trending music videos. Her short films, which she’s written and directed herself, tell stories about women in modern society. In her own words, Thanh wants “to make film which is satisfying enough to delight younger audience members, and maybe win over a few older ones, too”.
