German Film Festival 2019
Presented by the Goethe-Institut Singapore, the German Film Festival (GFF) has been reaching out to a growing audience in Singapore since 1978. This year the GFF will be focusing on self-determination, diversity and social awareness.
The Festival’s opening film, All About Me, will premiere for the first time in Singapore and is an award-winning story of the German entertainer and comedian Hape Kerkeling. A compelling biographical narrative written by the entertainer himself, Kerkeling charted his childhood and how he overcame great personal tragedies growing up in the Federal Republic of Germany in the 60s -70s. All About Me is a long-awaited new film by director Caroline Link who was an Oscar® 2003 Winner for Best Foreign Language Film, “Nowhere in Africa”. All About Me has also recently been awarded with the Bavarian Film Awards and the German Film Awards.
GFF will be held from October 24 to November 10, 2019 at various cinema locations and open air venues around the city. So get your tickets now!
