Ever heard of the term butterflies in my stomach? Well, now we’re having goldfish instead. The award-winning short film “Fishtank” sheds light on the struggle to overcome alcoholism, depicting the anxieties and harsh reality of the disease.
Featuring Jules, a woman who has been sober for a year, the short film follows her recovery as she undergoes group therapy at an AA programme. In an absurd twist, Jules often vomits goldish—a reflection of her struggle with sobriety. And when a fish enthusiast enters her life, things get further out of hand.
Last Rain On My Parade
This bittersweet short film follows a fleeting romance between a hairdresser and a delivery driver in Vietnam. Whenever it rains, the two young lovers meet, their rendezvous unfolding in small, tender moments amid their busy lives.
It’s a touching drama that captures the temporary yet unforgettable romances of youth—brief but passionate encounters that flare as fervently as the nation’s excitement during the football season in which the film is set.
Covert
Need we say more? After the heist at the Louvre, now you can take on the exciting POV of the security guard with “Covert”, who tries to stop the masked burglar before he escapes with the prized jewel. Packed with action and skillful animation, this animated short film was created by Singapore CG filmmaker Bervryn Chua and his team as part of their Final Year Project at ADM, Nanyang Technological University, in 2023.
Morning In Autumn
If your 2025 opened unexpected doors, offering new opportunities you never saw coming, then this short film is for you.
Directed by Korean filmmaker and actor Kim Sungmin, who stars as the protagonist Ki Tae, Morning In Autumn is a heartwarming drama about exploring new paths and unexpected friendships. The short film also features veteran Korean actor Jung In-gi and Lee Joo-shil.
The Fool's Paradise
Like The Fool (in tarot readings), you’ve spent 2025 trying out new—sometimes crazy—things. That’s awesome, but let this short film be a cautionary tale of uninhibited ambition…
Bayu is a passionate classical musician desperate for fame. Unable to find an audience, he grows increasingly frustrated. One day, he came across a TV show featuring a magician performing a remarkable trick that completely enchanted him. Inspired by the extremity of the act, Bayu becomes determined to incorporate it into his next performance, despite his wife’s strong objections.
And on the day of his show, the crowd waits with bated breath as they watch his mind-blowing trick begin to unravel…
